Junior Product Manager

We, the raumvonwert team, are creative minds with a great passion for honest craftsmanship and high-quality materials. We make product design. From the initial idea to series production. Your tasks will mainly revolve around our folding space-saving staircase Klapster!

The smart folding staircase is the optimal solution to create additional living space (e.g. attics or sleeping galleries) in an efficient and space-saving way.

These tasks are waiting for you:

Preparing offers and advising our Klapster customers

You know everything about Klapster and can advise our customers in the best possible way and also answer one or two technical questions. Support our customers with special requests with the aim of building long-term customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Our values are high standards of quality, reliability and sustainability. Of course, you will first receive extensive training from us so that you will feel like a stair expert afterwards!

Processing and managing orders

You take responsibility behind the scenes to ensure that our customers are happy and that the right goods reach the right customers. You write invoices, create delivery notes and clarify returns and complaints. You always have an open ear and you enjoy making phone calls. You also take care of smooth processes with our national and international suppliers and logistics service providers.

Viewing appointments

Receive customers in our showroom and inspire them with our Klapster staircase. (In addition to appointments during the week, we also offer our customers viewing appointments on Saturdays once a month. However, we divide the Saturday appointments between us, so it's not your turn every month).

Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

You understand (or are willing to learn) the accounting processes of a small/medium sized business and enjoy making our accountant's job as easy as possible.

Administration

Insurances, contracts, administrative tasks. You create order in our office and keep track of everything.

Project management and campaigns

You support us in current projects, research new suppliers and sales channels and prepare presentations and statistics.

Staff coordination and human resources

You coordinate our mini-jobbers and design the schedules for the pickers. You keep an eye on time recording, travel expense accounting, holiday planning and take sick leave.

These are your strengths:

  • You like to be in contact with people, can express yourself very well and write well-structured emails. Talking on the phone is also your thing!

  • Fluency in German and English is essential for contact with our customers at home and abroad and is therefore a must. Any other foreign language is a big plus.

  • You have a good understanding of numbers. Excel spreadsheets, price negotiations, writing invoices and the administrative processes in the back office do not scare you, but you see them as a balance to the communicative part.

  • Solid experience in customer service, a commercial apprenticeship or a degree in business administration are desirable. If you have gained these skills in another way, let's talk about it!

  • You are known for your great care and attention to detail. You love to pursue your goals in a structured way and don't lose your nerve when 37 tabs and files are open at the same time.

  • If you have any wishes or even problems, you address them openly and may surprise us directly with a solution suggestion! You are self-confident, friendly and honest.

  • You are flexible, work independently on your projects and support your team.

  • You manage an important area with us and always keep an overview!

  • You are aware of the advantages and disadvantages of working in a start-up. A good dose of humour doesn't hurt 😉

What can you expect?

  • Young, expanding company

  • You have the chance to grow with us and help shape processes yourself. This means a large learning curve for you as well as exciting development opportunities within the company.

  • Start-up culture in the middle of Frankfurt

  • We are located in the east of Frankfurt (near the Gwinnerstraße underground station) in a small industrial area that is increasingly being used by young, creative companies from a wide range of sectors. We love it and hope you will too!

  • Varied and responsible tasks

  • New challenges are waiting around every corner in a start-up. Today is not like yesterday and already tomorrow everything can be different! You have clear, recurring tasks, but these can constantly expand or change. That depends primarily on you and your commitment!

  • Flat hierarchies and short decision-making processes

  • Together we find a solution to every problem. Here, everyone pitches in when there's a fire somewhere!

  • A friendly and appreciative working atmosphere

You can look forward to a great team with a common mission. We also like to drink a beer together in the evening, chat about God and the world and organise the occasional party. We therefore hope that you don't leave the scenario in a hurry every evening at 5 p.m. sharp and that you, like us, are interested in creating a good atmosphere in the team!

Does this sound like you?

Then we would be happy to receive your application (including motivation letter and CV) by email to info@raumvonwert.de. As soon as we have received your application, we will confirm it. Within a few working days, you will find out whether you have been selected for the shortlist. If so, it would be best if you came by and we got to know each other personally. We look forward to meeting you!
